With this project, Riello realizes the “high uniforms” for the staff of some the most important museums of contemporary art in Europe. The outfits are especially designed and realized with fabric and materials produced specifically for the diverse contexts.
'BE SQUARE' is a project created and realized by Antonio Riello.
The uniform created for the entire staff investigates and celebrates the collective identity. It can be distinguished through the artistic alteration represented by the fundamental element of the whole project: the ideation and personalized realization of a specific Tartan where a mistake is inserted, artistically speaking a “praise for imperfection”, an element of development and change regarding a realistic collective identity but at the same time contradictory and uncertain, a stylistic feature of Riello’s poetics.
The entire project has been realized through the aid of the Archivio Bonotto.
