Bonotto is one of the protagonists of the Petrolio television program, in the episode: "Made in Italy: Global challenge".
The Slow Factory is the example of those activities that are winning this challenge, thanks to its courage and talent in innovating itself.
"Going on, towards the Past" is how the two journalists Valeria Fraschetti and Giulio Reale call the revolutionary attitude of Giovanni Bonotto. Methods and instruments come by the tradition and forgotten for many years, they're today recovered and employed in a constantly evolving dream: to cultivate the Culture and Emotion of dressing.
Mechanical looms' slowness, artisan's know-how and experience, importance of time and memory are projected towards the future, creating high quality's spun.
On the walls there is exposed one of the most significative collections of experimental arts. In this factory-museum, Art and Life, imagination and work, they correspond and value each other.
The result is a textile always unique: an artwork appreciated all over the world, following the rut of Renaissance deep inside Italian excellence.
