The exhibition of Nanni Balestrini, 'La Tempesta Perfetta', opens on February,2 at 18.00 at MACRO, via Nizza – Sala Bianca.
Nanni Balestrini realizes an exhibition inspired by the iconography of the enigmatic 'La Tempesta' by Giorgione, confronting with our contemporary cotext: cultural, social, economic as well as psychological, considering the look "from the past" by Giorgione, deconstructed through patchwork, decompositions, implosions and overwriting.
The series of "Tessiture", part of the exhibition, comes from the collaboration of Nanni Balestrini with Luigi Bonotto, who employed his skills of weaver in order to realize the tapestries and creating a final dissolution whre words and images disappear.
During the period of the exhibition the catalog will be presented, that contains set-up photos, designed together with the artist, critical essays by Achille Bonito Oliva, Michele Emmer and Patrizio Peterlini and an unpublished interview to Balestrini edited by Claudio Crescentini and Federica Pirani.
