"When I was studying offset printing at the Manhattan School of Printing.
I tried to amuse myself when I did my printing exercise by making special
little pieces out the "problems" (exercises). This was a four-page folder.
I found the negatives, butted them and stripped them up.
The text probably refers to glues. My fellow students usually made plates
of my problems and printed them because they found them amusing" (D.H.)
